Module Application

The Land Use, Planning and Development module assists councils to:

• Comply with their statutory functions for land use planning and development control.
• Process development applications, complying development certificates and construction certificates.
• Enforce compliance orders, address unlawful development and ensure developer compliance with conditions and contributions.
• Balance local development needs with environmental protection, community expectations, and regulatory compliance.

This module is intended for council planning and development officers, building surveyors, and strategic planner.

Failures may result in invalid approvals, Land and Environment Court orders, contribution plan rejection, or ministerial intervention.
