In December 2015, WorkSafe WA announced that it would review the model workplace health and safety regulations before undertaking a public consultation process on the new legal framework.
The Victorian Government has announced that it does not plan to introduce the harmonised model workplace health and safety act and regulations into Victoria. However, as part of updating local Victorian occupational health and safety regulations it is likely that the model will be considered.
The module will be expanding the coverage of different kinds of investigations and enforcement activities that result from an organisation’s non-compliance with the legislation.
