The Public Governance Performance and Accountability Framework (PGPA) sets out minimum content requirements in relation to NCCEs establishing budget estimates and corporate plans. Historically budget estimates are focused on the funding of activities and programs while corporate plans are focused on setting and achieving broad purposes, and establishing performance criteria. Recent developments in the sector have shown this delineation to be blurring somewhat as budget estimates are now required to also include certain performance criteria.
The Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities module will continue to be updated to reflect changes and improvements in best practice processes as well as any changes to legislation and regulations impacting the sector as they occur.
