Navigating sanctions regimes is complex and must constantly adjust to changing restrictions locally and internationally. The establishment of the Australian Sanctions Office as a dedicated sanctions regulator as of 1 January 2020 may indicate a new approach will be taken to supervision and enforcement of economic and trade sanctions.
The SANCTIONS module will continue to be updated to reflect improvements in best practice processes as well as any changes or amendments to legislation and regulations impacting the sanctions compliance landscape as they occur. In particular, new jurisdictions will continue to be added in response to customer feedback and future regulatory developments
