ONG WEI JIN's principal areas of practice are in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate, as well as securities regulatory and compliance matters.
He has acted in mergers and acquisitions across various industries and undertaken through both sale by private negotiations and in sale by tenders. He has also acted for Singapore and foreign companies in their initial public offerings on the Singapore Exchange, in takeover and privatisation transactions and acts as legal counsel to listed companies to ensure post listing regulatory compliance. Ong Wei Jin also handles SGX listed transactional work such as placements, rights and warrants offerings, other convertible securities and major acquisitions and disposals. He also provides company secretary services to listed companies.
Ong Wei Jin is qualified with a LLB (Hons) and a LL.M., both from the National University of Singapore, as well as a M.B.A. (Investment and Finance) from the University of Hull.
