The PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION module will continue to be updated to reflect the significant changes and new requirements in Singapore’s data protection landscape and changes from the Personal Data Protection Act, including increased financial penalties for companies in noncompliance and a new right of data portability for individuals, which are expected to be introduced in phases this year.
